Here's what other have to say...
It’s a known fact that people will comfortably promote opportunities where they have gained the most benefit.
As the editor of f.rock fashion's 'What the f.rock?' newsletter for the past year, I have not only been able to meet some wonderful people in the industry but I have been given the chance to work on my writing craft and be open to ideas.
f.rock fashion is most definitely a destination I would recommend to those who are keen to learn about the fashion industry behind-the-scenes and will find the voluntary contributions as invaluable. With Helen Sattler as the head of f.rock fashion, not only is there immense support but also fantastic opportunities to ask for advice, meet relevant industry individuals and gain work-related experience in one's preferred field of either design, PR, photography or writing.
I have no doubt that f.rock fashion will be on everyone's radar soon with plans to make the company and ideas bigger and better than ever in 2011!

Twelve months ago I was a full time Mum who had an idea about a fashion forum for emerging designers. Through a friend I was introduced to Helen Sattler, who happened to be launching a product that she had developed for emerging designers at the same time. So together we dreamt up our fashion event - Launch My Label - A Fashion Forum.
Before having children I worked in the marketing sector and felt that I had totally forgotten those skills and was thinking about getting into teaching, while designing my own label. Through my work with Helen and the opportunities she made available to me through this event, I realised that all my skills where still there, just filed away.
I now have an amazing business development and marketing position with a great company, all because Helen took a chance on me and gave me the work to be able to refresh my skills. Honestly, if I hadn't done the work experience with Helen, I wouldn't have had the confidence to go for the job that I have today.
Helen is an amazing person to work with, who totally believes in you and helps you find the best in yourself. She is a wealth of knowledge on the fashion industry and all her products have the emerging designer in mind and being one myself, recommend them 100%. I have had so much fun over the last 12 months and an experience I won't forget. I would definitely recommend an intern-ship with Helen any day!
